Good morning and welcome back to Daily Drop!

We’ve had some pretty fun travel hacks over the last couple of weeks. But today we’re gonna mix it up and drop some good old-fashioned travel deals on you:

  • ✈️ Southwest 30% flash sale

  • 🤑 JetBlue Cyber Sale ($49 flights)

  • 🏨 Best Western: 10k bonus points per stay

✈️ Southwest 30% flash sale

Wooh! Finally, an exciting airline deal to get excited about. 🤩

For a couple of days only, you can get a 30% discount on Southwest flights for travel far into the new year.

Here are the deets:

  • Use promo code CYBER30 when searching

  • You must book your flights by TOMORROW

  • 30% discount on base fares (not taxes)

  • Valid for the following dates of travel:

    • January 9th through March 6th (Continental U.S.)

    • January 9th through May 22nd (Hawaii, Puerto Rico, International)

    • There are some blackout dates (you can find them on the sale page)

  • Only valid for cheaper fares

So yeah, there is a bit of fine print to think about, but overall this is an excellent sale.

The fact that you could save 30% on flights through May of next year means that most people who enjoy flying Southwest can probably take advantage of this deal.

I personally found a few solid flight deals that are pretty meaningful. For example, I found a number of flights from the U.S. to Cancun for as little as $151 across many dates.

If Mexico isn’t your thing, that’s fine. There are a ton of great domestic deals as well.

For example, if you live in the Northeast and want to take a little vacation to Albuquerque, because… well… actually I don’t know why you’d want to do that.

Still, you COULD do that for just $126 one-way with this discount.

Overall, this is a great time to look ahead to the new year and lock in some cheap travel with Southwest.

🤑 JetBlue Cyber Sale ($49 flights)

In other news, JetBlue is out with a less exciting, but still potentially valuable sale that you should know about.

I say “less exciting” because it’s WAY more restricted than Southwest’s…

Here’s the deal:

Until the end of the day TODAY, you can get some VERY cheap flights on JetBlue.

The catch?

There are a few…

  • As I said, you have to book your flights by today

  • It’s only valid between January 9th and March 27th, 2024

  • Only valid for Tuesday and Wednesday travel (that’s the big kicker)

Even so, I found some pretty ridiculous deals that I am pretty tempted to take advantage of…

Like this flight from Boston (Worcester, technically) to Quito, Ecuador - a city that’s been on my list for years - for only $137 one-way…

That’s a VERY good deal…

The other fun aspect of this sale is that since JetBlue awards are dynamically priced (meaning the points price is tied to the cash price), there are some sick deals for using JetBlue points too.

For example, you can fly from Southern California to Mexico for under 5,000 JetBlue points one-way, which is awesome.

If you don’t have a stash of JetBlue points, that’s an easy fix… there are plenty of credit cards that allow you to transfer points to JetBlue.

I personally am thinking of sending over some points from this card to snatch some of these deals today.

🏨 Best Western: 10k bonus points per stay

I’m sure whenever I mention that there’s an awesome deal coming from a hotel chain, you absolutely don’t think, “Gosh, it’s gotta be Best Western.”

…but today, in fact, I’ve got an awesome promo for you coming from Best Western. And what’s better than one promo? Stacking two promos. 😏

I feel like Best Western was always the go-to roadtrip hotel back in the late 90s and early 2000s. I would have sold my 11-year-old soul to swim in one of their chlorine-high-inducing indoor pools back in the day.

But we’re all big boys and girls now who go to Best Western for the points and money-saving hacks (and not the indoor pools).

So that’s right, the BW has launched two new promotions worth noting 👇

Earn 10K bonus points per stay:

It’s suggestive that this might be a targeted offer… or may have been… until the masses got their hands on it.

Either way, it’s worth checking out because it’s free to register if you aren’t already a member 👇

Here’s the catch though— you’ll need to book your stay at an eligible hotel in the US, Canada, or the Caribbean by December 3, 2023, for a stay that is completed by February 4, 2024.

But get this, a stay can be defined as “one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western branded hotel.”

So you could stay one night, get 10,000 bonus points… and then do that up to ten times if you really wanted to (because the promo is maxed out at earning 100,000 points per member).

Not too shabby, especially if you frequent Best Western often, or if you already have some nights booked.

It may even be worth your time to cancel and rebook if it makes sense to do so, and you’re after some tasty bonus points…

Receive a $100 gift card after staying three nights

Here’s where the promo stackery business begins… 😈

You will earn a $100 BW gift card after staying three nights between December 4, 2023, and February 4, 2024, at eligible US, Canadian, and Caribbean properties.

What’s even better, is that those three nights DON’T have to be consecutive!

So you’re telling me that I could book three separate, one-night stays, earn that $100 gift card, AND rack up 30,000 bonus points from the other promo?

Yes. Yes, I am.

Isn’t promo stacking fun? 🤩

Just know that each member has a limit of one gift card for this promotional period, and that gift card expires on May 31, 2024.

Overall, even if you aren’t a big fan of Best Western, but you have a need to stay at one of their properties in the coming months, these are solid offers that I would definitely take advantage of if it fits in with your travel plans.
