☀️ Good morning and welcome back to Daily Drop — we turn boring airline promos into the only math you’ll ever actually care about.
And today’s math is pretty darn exciting:

✈️ A 50% bonus that makes these miles worth a look
Turkish Airlines’ Miles & Smiles program isn’t usually the star of the show these days — especially after last year’s chart devaluation.
But with a 50% transfer bonus from ThankYou points through October 18, two sweet spots stand out and suddenly look very tempting.

Lie-flat to Istanbul for just 43k points
Turkish normally charges 65,000 miles for a one-way business-class flight from the U.S. to Istanbul — still a solid deal for a 10+ hour lie-flat ride.
With this bonus, that drops to just 43,000 ThankYou points.

If you continue beyond Istanbul, prices jump way up, sadly.
But if you’re happy to spend a few days in Turkey, you can then book a cheap onward hop to places like Athens, Tirana, or elsewhere in the region.
That way, you get the comfort of business class for the long haul, plus a mini city break in Istanbul.
Domestic U.S. flights from 6.7k points
Another quirky sweet spot is Turkish’s fixed pricing on domestic U.S. flights on United:
10,000 miles in economy (just 6,700 ThankYou points with this bonus)
15,000 miles in business (10,000 ThankYou points, though award space here is tough to find)
The beauty is that the pricing doesn’t change based on distance. A short New York–Boston hop? 10k miles. An 11-hour New York–Hawaii nonstop?
Yep, also 10k miles – and just 6,700 ThankYou points. 👇

Economy availability is decent, too. The example above is in January (with availability most days), so it’s not like you need to book a year in advance to find these deals.
💡 Pro Tip: To search for United flights using Turkish miles, use this dedicated page for Star Alliance awards and log in to your Turkish account.
Anyway, ThankYou points are lit right now… so hop on this bonus while you can. And in the meantime, consider racking up some more ThankYou points.

🌎 Earn 10,000 bonus miles on economy flights
Flying Blue is currently running a promo that makes even a basic economy ticket feel like a points haul.
When you book a cash economy flight on Air France or KLM that departs from the U.S., you’ll pick up a flat 10,000 bonus Flying Blue miles.
Here are the key details:
You need to book by October 7.
Travel must take place between now and March 31, 2026.
Flights can go anywhere in the world (to any Air France or KLM destination), as long as that first segment departs the U.S. and passes through Paris or Amsterdam.
Flights must be operated and marketed by KLM or Air France
United States residency is required, and the offer is valid once during the promo period
Only paid economy tickets qualify — not award flights.
So why does this matter? Because it turns cheap tickets into outsized value.
For example, I found a Boston to Amsterdam round-trip this November for just $258 on KLM.

Normally you’d earn about 900 Flying Blue miles for that fare, but with the promo, you’ll net an extra 10,000 bonus miles.
Pay with a card like this one and you’ll also earn 5x points on airfare, adding another 1,290 points to the mix.
In total, you’d walk away with about 12,170 Flying Blue miles.
At a conservative value of 1.5¢ each, that’s roughly $183 in value back — a 71% return on your spend, while still getting yourself a trip to Europe.
This is a rare chance to use a cheap economy flight as a mileage generator, but the booking window is short, so don’t sit on it. Check out the full details here.
