🏨 Hyatt promo: discounts, free breakfast, and more

Well, well, well. Look who it is again.

Hyatt is on FIRE these days. Because against all odds, they’ve just launched ANOTHER promotionand it’s actually an awesome one.

Depending on which region of the world you’re traveling to, Hyatt is offering different promotions like discounted rates, double points, and even free breakfast.

Here is the breakdown of the different offers by region:

  • The Americas and Caribbean: Discounted rates and offers for double points for members

  • Europe, Africa, and the Middle East: Up to 20% savings and free breakfast for members

  • Asia: Discounted rates of up to 20% for members

You can access all of these offers by simply using the promotion code STAYNOW when you run a search on the Hyatt website or app.

Personally, I think this is awesome.

I’m always on the lookout for ways to access elite-like hotel benefits without elite status, and this offer definitely opens the door for that.

For example, I ran a search for properties in Amsterdam and found a great deal at the Hyatt Regency in Amsterdam.

While the nightly rate isn’t any different than normal, it does include free breakfast because of this promotion, along with a flexible cancellation policy.

Given the fact that the rate is lower than any other at the hotel, this is an amazing way to get extra value in an otherwise really expensive city.

As I told you last week, I’ll be heading to Mexico City later next month for a few days, staying at the lovely Andaz Condesa.

I ran a search for this property using the current promo code and found a rate of just $160 per night (down from the previous $210 per night).

Since this is in the Americas, the rate also includes DOUBLE points. In Hyatt world, double points is amazing.

That means that as a Globalist, I’d earn 11.5 points per dollar at this hotel plus any credit card points I normally earn.

And now for the fine print:

  • You must book your stay by December 5th, 2023

  • Travel can take place through April 30th, 2024

  • Not every hotel is participating, so you might not get the code to work everywhere

Overall, this is great. I love promos like this that offer solid value and can apply to most people who have to book travel over a long window.

Bravo, Hyatt. 👏 Keep ‘em coming.

✈️ A new, even better transfer bonus to JetBlue

If you feel like you’re experiencing deja vu right now, don’t worry. You aren’t.

It might feel like it since we JUST saw a 25% transfer bonus to JetBlue pop up less than a month ago.

But this one is way better… and I’ll tell you why… obviously.

Last month, I told you about the transfer bonus from MR Points to JetBlue, resulting in a 1:1 ratio.

As of today, however, you can transfer UR Points to JetBlue with a 25% transfer bonus, resulting in a 1:1.25 ratio. In other words, transferring 1,000 points will yield 1,250 JetBlue points.

Here’s why this is awesome…

JetBlue has some pretty epic award rates. For example, you can fly from New York to the Bahamas for only 4,600 JetBlue points one-way.

With this bonus, you’d only need to transfer 3,700 UR Points.

For a nonstop flight from the Northeast to the Caribbean, that’s INCREDIBLE.

If you’re afraid of leaving the U.S., I get it - the world is scary.

Thankfully, JetBlue also has amazing domestic deals, like a nonstop flight from Boston to Los Angeles for just 7,000 points.

With the current bonus, you’re looking at a reasonable 5,600 UR Points to fly all the way across the country.

To be frank, these rates are absolutely incredible.

If you don’t have any UR Points to transfer, that’s also fine. You can earn a boatload of them by signing up for a card like this one.

In fact, by simply earning the welcome bonus on that card and combining it with the current transfer bonus, you’d be able to fly from New York to the Bahamas 17 times. SEVENTEEN. 🤯

So here’s the bottom line:

This is a really solid bonus that will be on the table for almost two months (it ends on January 10, 2024). JetBlue is a great airline with comfortable seats, a comprehensive route map, and solid award rates.

So go rack up some UR Points and I’ll see you in the Bahamas. 🏝

Seriously, they’re pros at finding you savings in all the right places.

So not only will you be getting a well-researched trip, you’ll also be gifted an itinerary that could save you up to 25% compared to if you had done all the hard work yourself 🤯

Indus offers a handful of travel tour styles:

  • Small and ultra-small group tours

  • Independent/solo tours

  • Self-drive tours

  • River cruises in Europe

We’ve visited Ireland and Portugal with Indus so far, but today, we’re highlighting another popular itinerary: Island Hopping in Greece👇

Welcome to the island life—where you’ll find ancient archeological sites, inviting beaches, and the pristine waters of the Aegean Sea.

Your 7-night adventure will begin in Athens before hopping aboard a ferry to both Mykonos and Santorini.

And as standard with Indus Travel, they’ll also include daily breakfast, deluxe AC vehicle transport, and international flights from any U.S. or Canada airport as part of this itinerary!

Plus, if you book before November 20th, you’ll get $400 off per person 🤯

They’ve worked hard to establish relationships within the travel industry that allow them to negotiate the best price for accommodations, activities, and more.

If you’re interested in having an enjoyable vacation without all the work, check out this itinerary (or another destination!) on their website 👇

In case you didn’t know, we started a podcast. It’s called the Daily Drop Podcast.

Every week (and sometimes more often), Megan and I sit down to talk about travel hacking in a way that we simply don’t have space to do in this newsletter.

We think it’s a lot of fun, so check it out by clicking here, going on YouTube, or searching for us wherever you get your podcasts.

That’s all for today, kiddos.

I’m kind of freaking out about all of these transfer bonuses. It’s HIGHLY unusual to have upwards of ten bonuses going on at the same time…

Anyway, thanks for tuning in today. I love you all and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow ❤️
