What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Capital One is making waves in the credit card industry.

First, they launched their premium travel card the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, and then topped it by opening some of the swankiest lounges around—putting itself head to head with programs like The Platinum Card® from American Express (and its luxurious Centurion Lounges).

This guide is your key to accessing some of the best lounges in the U.S. Here’s everything I know from locations to access to why one of our community members scheduled a flight only to see the newest Capital One Lounge!

What is a Capital One Lounge?

Capital One Lounges are airport lounges owned and operated by Capital One. In case you’re brand new to airport lounges, welcome to your new favorite thing. These are airport retreats that give you space from the hustle and bustle of airport traffic. There are lounges through airlines, banks, and independent lounge networks.

How to access a Capital One Lounge

Capital One Lounges were specifically designed with the holders of the premium Venture X card in mind. If you have that beautiful, premium piece of shiny metal, you can expect unlimited complimentary access for you and two guests 🤗

One of the raddest benefits of the Venture X card is that authorized users are free to add and get their own complimentary two guests too… that’s the ability to get six totally awesome humans in with you and a partner.

Outside of the Venture X, the Capital One Venture X Business card will give you the same unlimited complimentary access to a Capital One Lounge!

But if you’re not in the market for a premium card, you’re not out of luck. If you’re a holder of the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Spark Miles for Business card (for only a $95 annual fee), you also get two lounge passes annually, plus a discount on entrance after your lounge passes are used up.

At just $45 as the discounted rate, it’s a steal compared to other banks’ lounges. Are other banks taking notes or what?! 😏

You can still enter these beautiful lounges without holding any Capital One card at all… for $65. And…

No, that’s actually all of the ways you can enter, but it’s a pretty solid list for a bank lounge.

What to expect in a Capital One Lounge

Outside of the basic lounge amenities like Wifi, snacks, and comfy seats, Capital One keeps it unique in its lounges.

There’s a reason people in our community love Capital One Lounges, so much so that one of our Daily Drop Lounge community members booked a flight just to visit one of the newest lounges in the Capital One family.

💡By the way… The Daily Drop Lounge is a virtual spot cooler than any airport lounge, and you are definitely invited!

Our community member came back with a full review of his time in the workout room, a shower post-workout, and delicious chef-inspired food while doing one of our favorite pastimes—planespotting!

Capital One Lounges quickly got the reputation of being some of the best. That’s because they shower their guests with high-touch elements like latte art so beautiful you don’t even want to drink it.

Each lounge takes inspiration from the surrounding area and brings in elements that both travelers frequenting there or stopping in for the first time will enjoy.

If you want something a little stronger than a coffee, you’ll be happy to find full-service bars with signature cocktails and exclusive local craft beers. 🍻 Cheers!

Want a little sneak peek? Here’s what you can expect, courtesy of Capital One:

Dallas-Fort Worth: Enjoy the custom Yellow Rose Airport Pilsner from locally owned 3 Nations Brewing and frozen Irish coffee from local bar Nickel City.

Dulles: Try the exclusive Pre-Flight Lager, a helles lager, from the award-winning Lost Rhino Brewing Company in nearby Ashburn, Virginia.

Denver: Order the Sky High P.A., a refreshing and slightly bitter session-style IPA, made in collaboration with Cervecería Colorado.

You’ll also find:

  • Quiet working areas

  • High-speed WiFi

  • Luggage Lockers

  • Workout and yoga rooms

  • Multifaith Prayer Rooms

  • Kid spaces

…seriously, what’s not to love?!

Capital One Lounge locations

At the moment there are only three Capital One airport lounges all located in the U.S. Find your new favorite lounge in:

  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)

  • Denver International Airport (DEN)

  • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

The next location in the works is at the Las Vegas International Airport because everywhere else in Vegas makes you feel like a VIP. Here’s to hoping with their stunning reputation they’ll consider opening up a few more of these airport gems.

Other things to know

Much like our other bank lounges, these are departure lounges only. You’ll need to show your boarding pass (eligible to enter three hours before departure) along with your eligible card or lounge pass found in your Capital One mobile app.

Bottom Line

The Capital One Lounges are some of the most luxurious and modern lounges to be found in airports. You’ll certainly be wowed by the high touches each location has to offer. While other lounge networks have more locations, I do believe Capital One Lounges are ones to keep an eye on. Thanks to the smaller population of people who get complimentary entry to Capital One, I think these will be some of the least overcrowded lounges, which is just an added bonus 🥂
