šŸŒž Good morning and welcome back to Daily Drop — the only place where ā€œbook four nights, get two freeā€ and ā€œfly six continents, get a million milesā€ are just normal weekday math.

Those two examples are literal, by the way:

šŸŒŽ Another million-mile challenge

In case you missed the memo, airlines are officially in their million-mile promo era.

We’ve seen SAS do it (I actually completed that one last year). JetBlue just launched its ā€œ25 for 25ā€ challenge. Etihad and Ethiopian have jumped in, too.

And now it’s Turkish Airlines’ turn — with one of the most tempting versions yet. šŸ˜

Here’s the deal:

If you fly to six continents with Turkish Airlines between now and October 27, you’ll earn a cool one million Turkish Airlines miles.

That’s it. Six continents. Million miles.

Of course, the devil is in the details… you’ll want to read the full terms, but here is the gist:

  • Cash flights only — no award tickets, and no flights booked with a promo code

  • All flights must originate in or transit through Türkiye (sorry, no sneaky fifth-freedom flights šŸ˜‰)

  • Your departure airport doesn’t count — only your destination does

  • Türkey itself doesn’t count as one of the six continents

  • You must attach your Turkish Airlines loyalty number before flying

  • And yes, Turkish has a continent-by-country table to clarify edge cases (like how Azerbaijan = Europe, not Asia)

But here’s why this might actually be worth considering… šŸ‘€

You don’t need 25 separate flights like JetBlue’s promo. In fact, if you already have a round-trip booked with Turkish, you might be halfway there.

You can also leverage points and miles to position yourself for cheap flights like the one below, cutting down your cash costs while still giving you an outsized return on your points investment.

The trickiest parts are South America and Australia, but if you’re willing to survive a couple of marathon economy flights, the reward is absolutely worth the effort. Because one million Turkish miles can take you very far…

…like booking domestic United flights for just 10,000 miles in economy, including flights like this one from Boston (BOS) to Honolulu (HNL). šŸ‘‡

The same flight will run you just 15,000 Turkish miles in business class (though availability is more scarce).

There are even a few ways to game the route map a bit.

For example, flying from Istanbul (IST) to Sofia (SOF), Beirut (BEY), and Cairo (CAI) would knock out Europe, Asia, and Africa in a matter of hours.

If you use a card like the Sapphire Reserve to pay for your flights, you’ll earn 4x points per dollar. You could also use the Capital One Offers portal (available if you hold the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card) to earn another 3x miles — so the return is pretty substantial.

If you’ve got a stash of cash, a flexible calendar, and a slightly unhinged sense of adventure… this might just be your year.

Oh god… guys…

I think I’m going to do another million-mile challenge. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

šŸØ Easy (but rewarding) hotel promo

Wyndham isn’t exactly the sexiest hotel brand in the game — but if you’re just looking for a clean bed and a solid points haul, this new promo might be worth your attention.

Right now, Wyndham is offering up to 15,000 bonus points when you book a multi-night stay:

  • Stay 2 consecutive nights, earn 7,500 bonus points

  • Stay 3 consecutive nights, earn 12,500 bonus points

  • Stay 4 consecutive nights, earn the maximum 15,000 bonus points

There’s a bit of fine print:

  • You’ll need to sign in and register for the promo in advance

  • Stays must be paid in cash, not with points or certificates

  • You can earn the full 15,000 points across one or two separate stays

  • All bookings must be completed by September 3, and registration closes on August 30

This deal is actually pretty compelling because Wyndham redemptions start at just 7,500 points per night.

So if you book a four-night stay, earn 15,000 points, and then redeem those points for two future nights, it’s basically a ā€œbuy four, get two freeā€ setup — a great return on a pretty low cash outlay.

For example, the Ramada in Portland, Oregon, regularly sells for under $100 per night. That means you could stay four nights for around $66 per night when you factor in the future free stays.

And if you use a card that earns a high return on travel purchases, you’ll rack up even more rewards on top of the bonus.

While this probably isn’t the kind of promo you plan a vacation around, it’s a no-brainer if you’ve already got a road trip, work travel, or family visit coming up.

šŸ¤“ Travel Trivia Tuesday

Qatar Airways Photo

And the winner is… Qatar Airways!

Qatar Airways took home the cake at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards (aka the Oscars of the airline industry) for the ninth time.

Known for its boujee Qsuites (which we love around here), Qatar also claimed the title of World’s Best Business Class and Best Airline in the Middle East.

The rankings are based entirely on passenger surveys from people across the globe, so it’s pretty cool that this is ā€œpeople’s choice.ā€

Singapore Airlines came in hot at second (again), and Cathay Pacific rounded out the top three.

Want to see who else made the list? You can see the full rankings right here.

That’s gonna do it for today, folks!

If you need me, I’ll be curled in a ball whispering ā€œit’s only six continentsā€ to myself until I click ā€œbook.ā€

Have a lovely Tuesday and see you tomorrow.
