Good morning, boo. Welcome back to another edition of Daily Drop.
Today’s got some fun stuff, so let’s dive in:

💳 My Current Favorite Card
I get asked all the time what my favorite travel card is, and people are usually expecting some exotic answer.
But it's not exotic. It's this card, and the reason comes down to one thing: 3x UR points on all travel.
And right now, the card is offering a whopping 100,000 points as a welcome offer after meeting the minimum spending requirements.
But today, let me tell you why I think everyone should have this card.
My catch-all for everything "travel"
For direct flight and hotel bookings, I generally reach for my premium card from the same bank, since it earns 4x UR points on those.
But "travel" is a much bigger category than flights and hotels.
This card is my catch-all for everything else: hotels and flights booked through third-party sites like Expedia or Trip.com, ferries, trains, buses, activities, you name it.
If it moves you from one place to another or happens on a trip, there's a decent chance it codes as travel.
And I earn 3x on all of it. 😎
I earn 3x when I’m at home, too
When I'm home in Indonesia, I basically run my life through one app called Gojek.
At its core, it's a rideshare app like Uber, but I also use it to order groceries, meals, and household supplies.
Every bit of that spend earns me 3x points since the app codes as “transportation,” much like Uber or Lyft.
And this isn't unique to my life in Indonesia, either. Huge chunks of the world run on super apps like this, like Bolt in Europe and Grab across Asia.
Land somewhere on a trip, live out of the local super app for a week, and you can rack up a surprising pile of points on what is basically everyday spending.
One catch worth knowing:
It's a business card, so you'll need some kind of business to apply. That said, a lot more counts as a business than people usually assume.
In fact, we’ve got a whole guide that explains why you’re probably eligible for business cards.
If you walk dogs, make baskets on Etsy, write a blog in your free time, or give your friend travel advice, you have a business (whether you feel like it or not).
The bottom line
This card is the biggest no-brainer in my wallet. $95 fee, 3x on travel. Those are the ONLY two things you need to think about.
If you travel with any regularity, the points you'll earn every year will FAR outweigh that fee.
And right now, the 100,000-point welcome offer means the card basically pays for itself for the next decade before you've earned a single point on spending.

✈️ A bunch of useful travel offers
Let's talk about one of the most underrated perks in this hobby: merchant offers.
If you carry a card from this bank, you'll get access to various targeted deals that earn you statement credits for spending with specific merchants.
The system is simple. You add an offer to your card, make a qualifying purchase, and the credit posts to your account automatically.
And if your card carries an annual fee, this is one of the easiest ways to claw a real chunk of it back every year on spending you were doing anyway. 💸
This bank has just launched a wave of travel offers worth adding, so let's run through some of my favorite ones.
Offer #1: 10% back on Expedia prepaid hotels
You'll earn 10% back on prepaid hotel purchases, up to $125 total, through August 4.

One thing to note: this one requires booking through the link provided in the offer, so don't just wander over to Expedia on your own and expect the credit to show up.
Offer #2: 10% back on Hotels.com prepaid hotels
This is basically the same idea as the last one. You'll earn 10% back on prepaid bookings, up to $100 back, through August 31.

Since prepaid bookings through third-party sites usually don't earn hotel points or elite credit, these two offers make the most sense for non-chain hotels and vacation rentals, where you weren't earning anything anyway.
A guaranteed 10% off beats zero loyalty points every time.
Offer #3: $100 back at Hyatt resorts
Spend $500 or more at select Hyatt resorts in the US, Caribbean, and Latin America, and you'll get $100 back.

This one runs through November 15, so it covers fall trips too.
And hitting $500 at a resort is not exactly a challenge. That's two nights, or one night plus a couple of frozen drinks by the pool. 🍹
Offer #4: $225 back with ITA Airways
Spend $1,250 or more with ITA Airways and earn $225 back. This one expires around August 1, so the clock is ticking.

That's an 18% return on airfare, which is a big deal if you've got Italy plans on the horizon.
ITA's premium economy and business fares from the US regularly clear that $1,250 bar on their own.
For anyone looking to spend big on airfare already, you might as well get a couple hundred bucks back.
Offer #5: $150 back with Marriott
Spend $375 or more with Marriott and get $150 back, through August 5. That's a 40% return, the strongest of the bunch.

Remember that Marriott promo I told you about yesterday?
If you're also targeted for that offer, one paid Marriott stay could earn you the bonus points and a $150 statement credit. Stacks on stacks, baby.
The fine print
You knew this part was coming… 😬
These offers are targeted, so different people see different deals on different cards, and your list won't match mine exactly.
Some offers also have enrollment caps and disappear early, which is why it pays to scroll through your offers every week or so and add anything remotely useful.
If you want to maximize your odds of getting targeted with deals like these, check out our favorite cards from this bank.

🌎 Save 50% on Daily Drop Pro
If you're new here, we have our own tool called Daily Drop Pro. It's our in-house award search tool (and so much more).
As a member, you get personalized points (and cash) flight deals, access to our pro community, and more.
But most importantly, you can search flights and hotels for your specific trip and see which programs are offering the best deals, with instructions on exactly how to transfer your points and make the booking.
So if you've ever wondered... "How do I know which airline or hotel program to use? How do I know I'm getting the best deal? Is there any way to search across all the programs at once?!"
The answer to all of those questions is Daily Drop Pro. 💅

And here's why I'm bringing it up today:
Our Summer Sale just launched, and Daily Drop Pro is 50% off starting today – which is the lowest price we've offered all year.
If you've been waiting for the right moment, this is the one.

That’s all for today, folks!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card talk, and I hope you consider signing up for Daily Drop Pro to make your points life a little easier.
See you next time,
With contributions by Sam Anthony and Katie Begnoche.
