Good morning from gorgeous Liechtenstein, a country whose population includes a few thousand people, a few Daily Drop staff, and like eight very judgmental cows.
Hereâs what I got for yous guys today:

đ¤ Finally: over $1,000 of new credits just dropped
A few months ago, the Chase Sapphire ReserveÂŽ got a massive facelift. And honestly? Itâs looking pretty sexy. New credits, perks, earning rates, and more.
But for people like me who have had the card for years, the new changes didnât take effect right away.
But as of two days ago, we also now have access to all of the benefits and new credits.
Since many of these credits are divided up as quarterly, monthly, or semi-annual, we have very little time to take advantage of some of them.
So here are the ones Iâm most excited about:
$250 hotel credit for The Edit
This is the big oneâŚ
Before the end of the year, we can get $250 back when booking a 2-night (minimum) stay at The Edit through the bankâs travel portal.
Personally, Iâm heading to China soon, and have been eyeing this Kimpton property in Shanghai:

Booking through The Edit also means getting free breakfast for two, a $100 property credit, and other perks.
Plus, as you can see in the screenshot, Iâll also earn IHG points and an elite night credit for this stay, which is a nice added bonus.
Monthly Apple credits
Another awesome credit on the card is the Apple TV and Apple Music credits.
Personally, I already pay $13 a month for Apple TV⌠so this is literally $156 a year back in my pocket (yay).
New dining credit
The Sapphire Reserve also includes $300 of annual dining credits, and $150 can be used now before the end of the year.
I wonât be able to make use of this since it only works at this list of restaurants in the U.S., but I suspect most of you will have an easy time putting that $150 to use.
Anyway, itâs nice to finally get in on the action.
There are other cool credits and even changes to the earning rates, so check out this article if you want a full rundown of why weâre excited about the card.

âď¸ New transfer partner: JetBlue
Well, hereâs something you donât see every dayâŚ
Wells Fargo Rewards just added a new airline partner to its roster, allowing you to transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to JetBlue.

If you donât know much about Wells Fargo or its credit card lineup, itâs actually interesting.
For example, the Wells Fargo Autograph Journeyâ Card earns the following points:
5x on hotels
4x on flights
3x on restaurants and travel
1x on everything else
HonestlyâŚ? Thatâs very compelling, given you can transfer to Flying Blue, Avianca, British Airways, and now JetBlue.
That covers all major airline alliances, plus a little bonus with JetBlue. Keep in mind that while programs like Membership Rewards points transfer to JetBlue, the ratio is lower than 1:1.
Plus, since JetBlue and United recently launched a partnership, this is yet another way to use transferable points to fly United.
Anyway, check out our guide to Wells Fargo Rewards if you want to explore this program and their cards in more detail.

PRESENTED BY UNBOUND MERINO
Travel lighter (and smarter!) with Unbound Merino
Hey there, Tiffany here! And I just returned from an adventurous week in Colorado. As someone who strictly travels with a carry-on, Iâve got news for you â Unbound Merino has been a game-changer for my suitcase (and me). đđťââď¸
Unbound creates simple, stylish, and versatile Merino wool apparel designed to drastically reduce the amount of clothing you need to pack.
I wore my Merino wool gear almost every day of my trip â from my long-sleeve baselayer on a chilly hike, to my quarter-zip pullover on the plane. I even sported a short-sleeve t-shirt multiple days in a row when temps soared to the 80s.
Plus, our favorite traveling duo â Kara and Nate â love to show off their Unbound wardrobe no matter where they are in the world!
We all absolutely love Unbound clothing for a variety of reasons:
đ Itâs super soft
â It never smells
âď¸ It regulates your temperature
đ§ It dries fast
đ It doesnât wrinkle (live your best travel life!)
đ Itâs sustainable, ethically sourced, and cruelty-free
If you want to blend simple, timeless style with the practicality of packing light, Unbound Merino strikes the perfect balance.

đ Where in the World Wednesday: Liechtenstein
As I mentioned earlier, Iâm currently writing to you from Vaduz, Liechtenstein â which, if youâve never heard of it, is fair.
Liechtenstein is this teeny-tiny country tucked between Switzerland and Austria. Itâs one of only two double-landlocked nations in the world (can you name the other one? đ), but what it does have is pure mountain magic.
Itâs the kind of place where you can walk from one end of the country to the other â and, in fact, McKay and I are currently doing exactly that today. đ

Everywhere you look, there are green slopes, little chalets, cows with better mountain views than Iâll ever afford, and that crisp Alpine air that makes you briefly consider becoming a yodeler.
đĄ If you want a fun piece of history, read about how Liechtenstein went to war with 80 soldiers and came back with⌠81 soldiers. This article explains it nicely.
Vaduz, the capital, feels more like a tidy mountain village than a âcity,â complete with a hilltop castle where the actual prince lives. Itâs so peaceful that the loudest thing here is probably my typing (sorry, prince).

Getting here isnât exactly straightforward⌠thereâs no airport and no chain hotels in the whole country.
Youâll want to fly into Zurich first, then take a scenic train and bus combo through Switzerland thatâs so beautiful it should come with a neck brace for all the head-turning.
If you live on the East Coast, you could book a round-trip itinerary from New York to Zurich for 24,000 Virgin Atlantic miles (and some tragically high taxes and fees):
If youâre looking to make it a points-friendly adventure, there are still some easy angles.
For example, you could book hotels in Liechtenstein using any travel site (think Expedia, Hotels.com, etc) with your Capital One miles-earning card and then offset the purchase at a rate of one cent per mile.
Or, if you have leftover Ultimate Rewards points from earlier this year, you can still use them in the bank portal at 1.25 cents each with the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂŽ Card or 1.5 cents each with the Sapphire Reserve â both solid options, especially during this time of year when hotels are selling for around $155 a night.

To be clear, those point values only apply to those who have held the cards long-term, before the recent revamp.
Now, the default redemption ratio in the portal is one cent each, unless a hotel is eligible for Points Boost (I know how annoying and confusing that is, sorry đ).
Between the castles, the cows, and the fact that you can literally walk across the country in an afternoon, Liechtenstein might just be the most delightful âhiddenâ country in Europe!
Have you been to Liechtenstein? |

Thatâs it for today, folks. I hope you enjoyed some new credits, a new transfer partner, and a little inspiration for your next European destination.
Until next time,
With contributions by Tiffany Eastham and McKay Moffitt
