āļø Good morning and welcome back to Daily Drop ā the trusted resource for people who see a 50% transfer bonus and immediately lose all impulse control.
Itās gonna be hard to resist todayās deals:

āļø British Airways is offering 40% (ish) off award flights
British Airways (BA) just launched an Avios award sale offering āup toā 40% off award flights ā but in true BA fashion, the details are about as clear as a London fog.
Hereās what we do know:
You have to book by July 23
Travel must be between August 1 and December 18 or January 5 through February 11
Itās only valid on award flights operated by British Airways
Only the Avios price is discounted ā not the taxes and fees
And BA says flights must originate in London ā though thatās⦠not entirely accurate.
The airline hasnāt published a full list of eligible routes or which ones have 40% off versus smaller discounts⦠But despite the mystery, Iāve found some fantastic deals hiding in the fog. š
For example:
New York (JFK) to London (LHR) for just 15,000 Avios in economy ā a full 40% discount from the usual 25,000. This is a steal for transatlantic travel, especially on a nonstop route with a good airline like BA.

But itās not just East Coast folks getting loveā¦
London (LHR) to Los Angeles (LAX) for 22,500 Avios in economy is another standout ā a 35% discount from the standard 35,000. š

Sadly, neither of these routes showed discounts in business class (as far as I could find).
And while BA claims the promo only works for flights from London, the New York to London fare proves that it also applies for some flights to London ā meaning this sale is useful whether youāre heading to Europe or the UK, or planning your return.
If you recently jumped on the now-expired transfer bonus from MR points (R.I.P. šŖ¦), this is a prime chance to stretch those new Avios even further.
And if you didnāt, donāt worry ā Avios is one of the most versatile airline currencies out there.
You can transfer points from nearly every major bank, and once youāve got them, you can freely shift Avios between British Airways, Qatar, Iberia, Finnair, and Aer Lingus.
Bottom line: This sale may be a little vague ā but the value is very clear. š

šØ This underrated hotel program is actually great
Accor Live Limitless (ALL) is one of the most overlooked hotel programs out there ā but honestly? It shouldnāt be.

With thousands of hotels worldwide (including brands like Fairmont, Sofitel, and Ibis), flexible redemptions, and a clear value structure, Accor points can go a long way⦠if you know how to use them.
Thatās why we just published a brand-new, full-length guide that breaks down everything you need to know:
How to earn Accor points (including with bank transfers)
How redemptions work
Elite status perks (and how to earn status)
Hotel brands and where to find them
And how to actually get great value out of this lesser-known program
But thatās not allā¦
Thereās still a 50% transfer bonus from ThankYou points to Accor ā and it ends tomorrow.
That gives you a small but mighty window to learn the ropes, check out a few hotels, and maybe pull the trigger on a transfer.
Hereās a real-world example:
Letās say you pull the trigger on that British Airways deal and find yourself in Manchester, England.
You could book various Ibis (an Accor budget brand) hotels for as little as $70 (ā¬60) per night.

To cover that with points, youād need:
3,000 Accor points
Or just 4,000 ThankYou points with the 50% bonus
Thatās a redemption value of 1.77 cents per ThankYou point ā which is excellent, especially for a simple, cash-like booking with no blackout dates or hoops to jump through.
Anyway, our guide explains all of these details, so go read up on what might be your new favorite hotel loyalty program. š

ā Hyatt adds a new boutique brand
World of Hyatt has officially welcomed a new brand into the fold: Bunkhouse Hotels ā a quirky boutique chain known for curated food and beverage concepts and design rooted in the communities in which the properties exist.
And while that all sounds fun, hereās what really matters:
Bunkhouse is now the 35th brand in Hyattās portfolio ā which means itās now part of the Brand Explorer program.

And if you donāt know, Brand Explorer is one of Hyattās best-kept secrets:
You earn a Category 1ā4 Free Night Award for every five unique Hyatt brands you stay at.
With 35 brands now available, you can earn up to seven free nights ā and Bunkhouse just gave us one more way to do it.
Hereās how the rollout works:
Earlier this week, Hyatt began integrating Bunkhouse properties into its system in phases:
Property Name | Location | Joining World of Hyatt |
---|---|---|
Hotel Saint Cecilia | Austin, TX | July 16 |
Hotel Saint Augustine | Houston, TX | July 17 |
Hotel San Jose | Austin, TX | July 23 |
Austin Motel | Austin, TX | July 23 |
Carpenter Hotel | Austin, TX | July 23 |
Hotel San Cristobal | Mexico | August 6 |
Hotel San Fernando | Mexico | August 6 |
So whether youāre headed to Austin, Miami, or Baja, there are some very cool ā and now very rewarding ā new options to check out.
Just remember: These hotels are now eligible for points earning, redemptions, elite benefits, and all of the other features we love about World of Hyatt.
And if youāre playing the same game I am, that Brand Explorer free night award could be worth a huge return ā because I recently used mine to book a $600 hotel in Brisbane, all thanks to this trick. š

So yeah⦠cool art, cool vibes, and a potentially free stay down the line? Iāll take it.

20% bonus from ThankYou points to Flying Blue until July 19
15% bonus from MR points to Avianca until July 31
