🚢 TRENDING TRAVEL NEWS 🚢

• Windstar Cruises: Lock in select voyages through March 2027 and snag a free All-Inclusive package — including drinks, Wi-Fi, and gratuities.

• Global News: Egypt is building a 1,200-mile high-speed rail, with plans to finish by 2028.

• Work Visa: Everything you need to know about this country’s new four-year visa.

Howdy, friends. This is gonna be a long one… but don’t worry – these are some of the best deals we’ve seen recently, so I don’t think you’ll mind. đŸ˜‰

Here’s what we got for you today:

🔥 Rent Day: Up to 100% transfer bonus to Avios

Okay, so Bilt Rewards is finishing off the year with a bang, folks.

For their upcoming December Rent Day, Bilt is dropping a 50–100% transfer bonus to British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus Avios — and it’s only live for 24ish hours:

December 1st from 12:00am ET through 11:59pm PT.

Bilt/British Airways graphic

And the best part?

You don’t need status. You don’t need a metal card. You don’t need to sacrifice a goat to the points gods (though you still can if you want to). 🐐

Even Bilt members with zero status get a 50% bonus, which is higher than literally anything we usually see from the other banks.

For reference, here is how the tiered bonus works:

Bilt Status Level

Transfer Bonus

Blue (no status)

50%

Silver

60%

Gold

75%

Platinum

100%

Why this is sick (and also perfectly timed)

Remember how literally yesterday we talked about those Iberia flights to Europe from 6,400 Avios each way?

Iberia Award sale for 6,400 Avios (boston to Madrid)

Boston to Madrid for 6,400 Avios on Iberia

Yeah… that sale is still live through December 2nd.

Which means if you’re a free Bilt member, you can transfer 4,200 Bilt points to Iberia and book the deal. If you’re Bilt Platinum, it drops to 3,200 points, at which point you’re legally obligated to cackle maniacally while clicking “purchase.”

And it’s not just Iberia… 😏

Other Avios sweet spots that absolutely bang:

  • Qatar Qsuites from the U.S. to Doha for 70,000 Avios (47,000 Bilt points with a 50% bonus).

  • Iberia business class to Madrid for 40,500 Avios (27,000 Bilt points for lie-flat biz).

Iberia business class to europe for 40,500 Avios

That’s… seven hours of full horizontal comfort for fewer points than those annoying dynamically-priced domestic economy flights.

Bottom line

This is why you should be collecting Bilt points on the regular. Build up a stash, wait for the right deal like this one, and book some dirt-cheap travel.

🏨 Earn a stupid number of miles on Black Friday

Okay, so Rove is going absolutely unhinged for Black Friday, and I need you to mentally prepare yourself… because this is a lot.

Rove is a portal where you can book flights, hotels, and shop with retailers and earn Rove Miles – which you can transfer to partners like Avios, Flying Blue, Turkish Airlines, and a bunch more.

But here’s what makes Rove different from other portals:

They offer loyalty-eligible hotel bookings.

Meaning you can book a hotel through Rove and still earn your normal hotel points, elite nights, and elite perks… while also earning transferrable Rove Miles on top.

Loyalty-eligible bookings through Rove (banner image)

And that matters because for Black Friday, Rove is doubling earnings on loyalty-eligible bookings and tossing on a pile of other bonuses.

Here’s the Black Friday lineup:

  • 10x Rove Miles per $1 on loyalty-eligible hotels (normally 5x)

  • Hotel booking bonuses (promo code needed for each):

    • Spend $100 → 500 bonus miles (code BLACKFRIDAY100)

    • Spend $500 → 2,500 bonus miles (code BLACKFRIDAY500)

    • Spend $1,000 → 5,000 bonus miles (code BLACKFRIDAY1000)

  • Double miles at a massive list of retailers (Nike, Sephora, Home Depot, Best Buy, Ticketmaster, and more)

  • Gift card bonuses:

    • 5x miles per $1 on airline, hotel, and Airbnb gift cards via giftcards.com

    • 4x miles per $1 on Visa/Mastercard gift cards via giftcards.com

  • 3x miles per $1 on flights booked through Rove

All of this is live ONLY on November 28, 2025, until 11:59 pm ET. It’s also worth noting that the hotel promo codes will only work for your first hotel purchase through Rove.

The gift card trick (this one is wild)

Let’s start with my favorite one: the gift card bonuses.

If you go through Rove and buy a $1,000 Delta Airlines gift card, you’ll earn 5,000 Rove Miles just from the purchase.

Use a Capital One miles-earning card (like the one we’ve been raving about recently) at checkout, and you’ll earn another 2,000 Capital One miles.

Since you can transfer both Capital One miles and Rove Miles to Flying Blue, you can pool those miles in your Flying Blue account and book a domestic Delta flight like this one for 6,500 miles:

Minneapolis to Chicago on Delta for 6,500 Flying Blue miles

Minneapolis to Chicago on Delta for 6,500 Flying Blue miles

👀 Check out this newsletter for more details on how to find Delta flights through Flying Blue.

In other words:

You’re literally buying Delta credit for future use… and the process of buying it earns you a free Delta flight. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I love points. They make no sense, and yet here we are.

The loyalty-eligible hotel angle

Here’s where things get spicy: loyalty-eligible bookings. Let’s say you want to head to Chicago for a fun getaway.

You need somewhere to stay, so you grab a 4-night booking at this IHG property through Rove for $520 total (including taxes):

Example of a loyalty-eligible booking through Rove

Since the booking is loyalty-eligible, you’ll earn everything you normally would from IHG — IHG points, elite-night credits, elite bonuses, credit card points, etc.

But if you book on Black Friday, Rove is also throwing on:

  • 10x Rove Miles = 5,200 miles

  • 2,500 bonus miles for spending $500+ on hotels

Total: 7,700 Rove Miles for staying somewhere you were already going to stay anyway.

And since Rove Miles transfer to programs like Air India, you could turn those 7,700 miles into two domestic United flights for 3,500 points each (read more about how that works here):

Newark to Washington, D.C. on United for 3,500 Air India points

Newark to Washington, D.C. on United for 3,500 Air India points

That’s two domestic hops for the cost of… sleeping in Chicago.

One more thing

Rove is also offering Daily Drop readers 1,000 miles for signing up — you’ll get them instantly, even before you book anything.

So you’re starting ahead before Black Friday even begins. 😉

The bottom line

These deals are only valid on Black Friday — not before, not after.

If you’re planning to buy hotel nights, airline gift cards, Visa/MC gift cards, or literally anything from the giant list of double-earning retailers… do it through Rove on Friday.

You’re not losing anything by booking through them — but you’re gaining a ton of transferable points that can turn into real, free travel.

PRESENTED BY WINDSTAR CRUISES

🍁 Thankful for Travel Sales Event

This time of year, most people are grateful for things like “family” and “health.”

I’m adding $50 deposits and free cocktails at sea to my list.

Windstar Cruises is celebrating the season of gratitude the best way we know how — with a travel deal that’s just… so good.

Book select voyages through March 2027 and receive a complimentary All-Inclusive package (drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities — valued at $99 per person, per day), plus reserve your sailing with just a $50 per person deposit.

Think: floating past Costa Rica’s rainforests, strolling through Mediterranean ports when summer crowds are long gone, or waking up in Tahiti to turquoise lagoons and jade peaks — with near-weekly, year-round departures that make any time the right time to sail. And right now is the best time to book any of our destinations.

All yachts serve fewer than 350 guests, with specialty dining, 24-hour room service, and marina access included.*

✨ Offer ends December 16. Consider this your permission to skip Black Friday chaos and treat yourself to something now.

That’s it for today, folks! We will be sending newsletters the rest of the week, but they’ll be short, sweet, and… still awesome. So don’t miss ‘em. 🫵
