🏆 Our Favorite Pick: Flying Blue’s 18k-sweet-spots to Europe

Europe is one of my favorite continents. But in all honesty, it has a 1 in 7 chance of being my favorite, so…

I also love that I can be scoffed at in German, French, and Dutch just by traveling an hour in any direction for doing some silly American thing — like asking for ice in my water or referencing miles instead of kilometers. 🫠

But I’ll go any chance I get, especially if Flying Blue’s monthly promos tempt me with transatlantic flights for less than 20,000 miles.

If you’re not aware, Flying Blue — the joint loyalty program of KLM and Air France — releases sweet spot deals each month. These often feature discounted routes from North America to Europe and beyond.

These are some of the highlights from this month:

  • Economy: Seattle (SEA), Washington, D.C. (IAD), Miami (MIA), San Francisco (SFO) — 18,750 miles each way

  • Premium Economy: Phoenix (PHX) and Dallas (DFW) — 30,000 miles each way

  • Business Class: Montreal (YUL) — 45,000 miles each way

And these are the hard and fast details:

  • You must book your flights by the end of August

  • Travel can take place through January 31, 2026

  • You can transfer points to Flying Blue from all major issuers

💡 Pro Tip: Some of my favorite cards to transfer points from are this uber-popular one and the more premium Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.

It’s as easy and as straightforward as that. Whether you’re eyeing a fall escape to Europe or are planning to hit the Christmas markets in December, lock in one of these deals to get you there for nearly nothing.
