Good morning and happy Friday! You made it to the end of the week - and I brought a few parting gifts. đ
Specifically: easy points, flash deals, and maybe a side of hotel-related gambling.
Here we go:

đ˘ 100k is almost gone
I know, I know⌠we wonât shut up about the welcome offer on the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂŽ Card to earn 100,000 UR points.
But there are two reasons for this:
Itâs freaking awesome.
Itâs ending very soon.
Letâs go through those in order:
1. Itâs the best offer that weâll see all year (probably)
Itâs been YEARS since we saw this offer come around, which is why the points and miles blogosphere has been so stoked about it.
That also means we likely wonât see it again for years to come.
Even if you redeem these points for the lowest possible value (1.25 cents each in the bankâs travel portal), youâre looking at $1,250 in travel from a card with an annual fee of under $100⌠So itâs a no-brainer.
2. The offer is ending soon
We finally know that this offer is ending on May 15 at 9AM EST. đ˘
So if youâve been on the fence, consider this your go/no-go moment (Spoiler: Itâs go time.).
Anyway, check it out and consider applying before itâs too late. Here â Iâll even make it super easy for you:

âď¸ Hotel roulette (spin to win)
Iâm not a huge gambler myself⌠but what if I told you there was a way to play roulette and maybe win a million points without risking anything at all? đ
Thatâs exactly what Marriott has gifted us with their new, fun promo:
Hereâs the deal:
Simply go to this page on Marriottâs website, log in with your Marriott account, and youâll be faced with a page like this:

When you spin, youâll have the chance to win all kinds of prizes, including:
Grand Prize of one million Bonvoy points and four nights at a fancy hotel in Washington, D.C.
Various shorter stays at other properties around the country
Additional bonus points
Other prizes like discounts, food & beverage vouchers, and more
It takes two seconds to do and could be insanely valuable⌠so everybody should do this immediately.
Personally, I am a big fat loser and got this message after spinning:

As lovely as Scottsdale sounds in the summer⌠Itâs a hard pass from me.
But even if you donât win instantly, everyone is still eligible for the grand prize that I mentioned earlier, which will be announced sometime in the future.

đ¨ Earn 40k bonus Marriott points
Speaking of Marriott doing good thingsâŚ
Thereâs an offer from Marriott Homes and Villas (the vacation rental arm of Marriott) that is deceptively good and will allow you to earn 40,000 bonus points from a single stay.
Hereâs the deal:
If you have Marriott elite status (at any level), you are eligible to earn 40,000 bonus points on a Homes & Villas stay if you follow these rules:
You must book your stay by May 11 (two days from now)
The stay must be at least two nights
You must spend $1,500 đŹ
You need to register for this offer
Valid for stays between June 1 and January 4, 2026
At first glance, you might want to vomit all over yourself (no, just me?) when you see that $1,500 spending requirement.
But hereâs the silver liningâŚ
The promo requires two nights minimum, but that doesnât mean itâs only valuable for short stays.
In fact, I was eyeing this place in Bali, where I could book 11 nights for $1,507, triggering the promo:

Thatâs a lot of money, yes⌠but for 11 nights in Bali? Honestly, Iâve spent more on oat milk lattes over the same time period living in New York. đŹ
As a reminder, you also earn Marriott elite nights and points from Homes & Villas stays.
Plus, elite members earn bonus points:
Status Level | Points Earned | Bonus % | Total Points |
---|---|---|---|
Member | 5 points/dollar | 0% | 5x |
Silver | 5 points/dollar | 10% | 5.5x |
Gold | 5 points/dollar | 25% | 6.25x |
Platinum | 5 points/dollar | 50% | 7.5x |
Titanium | 5 points/dollar | 75% | 8.75x |
Ambassador | 5 points/dollar | 75% | 8.75x |
Speaking of that⌠if youâre sad because you donât have any elite status, you might have it without even knowing it.
All Marriott co-branded credit cards give you elite status as a perk, and even The Platinum CardÂŽ from American Express offers Gold status â so I bet many of you actually do have elite status.
Anyway, you donât need to travel all the way to Bali to leverage this offer for good value.
For example, this property on Lake Tahoe costs a bit over $1,600 for six nights, which isnât bad:

Plus, many of these homes have multiple bedrooms and can accommodate a group of people, so this is a great option for families and friend groups (though youâll have to have a fight to the death to decide who gets the points and elite nights đ).
Just donât forget to register first because Marriott will absolutely not give you the points out of the kindness of their Bonvoyed hearts. đ
