Good morning from Dali, China — the place people flee to when they want to quit their corporate job, open a coffee shop in the mountains, and grow a questionable beard.
It’s basically the Colorado of China… just with less weed (maybe). 😉

🤓 Travel Trivia Tuesday
Can you guess which country Americans most want to move to for better cost of living, safety, and health care? |
The answer’s hanging out near the bottom of the newsletter, so keep reading (please).

✌️ TWO ways to fly to Europe for 5k points
We’ve got two genuinely great ways to cross the Atlantic right now, and both of them clock in at some almost all-time-low prices.
Let’s start with the simpler one.
1. Fly to London from 4,300 MR points
Virgin Atlantic is running a 40% transfer bonus from MR points right now.
Virgin already charges as few as 6,000 miles for a one-way flight to London, so with the bonus applied, you only need 4,300 MR points to get there (but you’ll transfer 5,000 because this bank doesn’t do partial amounts).

The taxes and fees are still on the higher side, because it’s Virgin, but the points cost itself is absurd. This bonus is live until December 31st.
FYI: Apparently, this transfer bonus may also be targeted. So check your accounts, but don’t be too sad if you don’t see the bonus.
It might not sound like huge savings, but if you’re booking a round-trip ticket, traveling with a family, or looking to book premium economy or business class, the savings can add up.
2. Head to Spain for 6,400 Avios with Iberia
Iberia is discounting tons of award flights from the U.S. by up to 60% — Boston, New York, D.C., Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami, Orlando, and more.
For example, this Boston to Madrid flight in January is bookable for 6,400 Avios and taxes of around $90.

For an East Coast to Europe flight, that’s extremely good – and availability is ample right now.
“Too bad there’s no transfer bonus to Avios…”
There actually is… 😏
Rove Miles is offering a 20% transfer bonus to Finnair Avios through the end of the year.
Because Avios can be freely moved between Finnair, British Airways, Iberia, Qatar, and Aer Lingus, you can send Rove Miles to Finnair and then move them over to Iberia.
👀 Read this newsletter carefully for details on how to transfer Avios between airlines.
If you have 5,300 Rove Miles, that’s enough to reach the 6,400-Avios price after the bonus.
While the sale only applies to economy, Iberia also regularly sells lie-flat business class to Europe for as few as 40,500 Avios. 👇

Transfer bonuses to Avios are quite common, so keep your eyes peeled in case another one pops up last-minute before this sale ends.
Of course, even without any transfer bonuses, you can transfer MR points, UR points, Capital One miles, ThankYou points, or Bilt Rewards to Avios 1:1 and book these Iberia deals for the normal price… which is still a solid move.
💡 Pro Tip: Sometimes Iberia’s site can be really janky… if you’re getting error messages, try using a VPN set to Spain – it tends to fix the issue (for me, at least).
Bottom line
These are two solid ways to get to Europe for almost no points.
The Virgin bonus runs through December 31st; the Iberia award sale ends December 2nd. If you’ve got flexibility and want to book a Euro trip for next year, it’s a very good time to pull the trigger.

🌎 Travel Trivia Reveal
We asked which country Americans are eyeing the hardest for 2026 relocation…

Aaaaand… it’s Canada. 🇨🇦
Yep — our literal next-door neighbor!
In a study from moveBuddha, 24.4% of surveyed Americans said Canada is their top pick for moving abroad.
Which… yeah. Valid.
England came in second (12.2%), followed by Japan, Ireland, and Switzerland.
Also worth noting: nearly 1 in 10 Americans are actively researching an overseas move, and almost 60% have considered leaving the U.S. at some point.
We’ve definitely seen a “digital nomad” trend circulating in the past few years, as well.
If you’ve ever watched someone swim in Banff’s beautiful lakes and thought, “That could be me,” apparently, you’re not alone.
Just, uh… maybe go ahead and rack up a few more welcome offers before you officially become an expat.
Those maple lattes don’t pay for themselves. 🙂
Read more about some popular “relocating” spots from this study.

That’s it, folks! I hope you enjoyed these fun Europe travel deals, trivia, and, of course, our Daily Drop giveaway (don’t forget to snag your free entry).
See you tomorrow,
