Summary

This is an amazing welcome offer for a no-annual-fee card. The Ink Business Cash is advertised as a cash-back card, but it actually earns Chase Ultimate Rewards Points. This incredible perk only holds true if you have another Chase card, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or the Sapphire Reserve®, that allows you to transfer points to travel partners. So, if you’re pairing this Ink Business card with a Chase Sapphire one, you could combine your points from both cards and transfer them to book travel directly with partners like Emirates, Jet Blue, and Hyatt (among others!).

Something else you'll want to be aware of is this card earns 5X points at office supply stores (for the first $25,000 spent each account anniversary year). While shopping at Staples or Office Depot might not be something you normally get excited about, this is a great perk!

Office supply stores carry gift cards galore. You can easily earn 5X points on purchases that would normally only earn you 1X. Planning a large purchase like an appliance or new furniture at a store that only gives you 1X points? Grab a gift card at the office supply store to cover that purchase, and you'll earn 5X points instead of 1X.

My Take

Anyone who watches Daily Drop on YouTube knows that I love the Chase Ink business cards and actually have every single one of them in my wallet. And while we don't typically talk about cash back credit cards, the Chase Ink Business Cash really comes to life when combined with something like the Chase Ink Business Preferred since this allows you to convert all of the cash back that you earn into Chase Ultimate reward points including the $750 cash welcome offer which could be converted to 75,000 points using this strategy. And considering it has no annual fee, earning 5% cash back or 5x points per dollar on major business categories like office supplies, internet, and phone services makes this a fantastic card for your small business or side hustle and one that I'll be keeping in my wallet for years to come.

How to make the most of your

Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

When it comes to Chase Ultimate Rewards, the best way to maximize your points is to redeem them with travel.

[.dontreco]  We don’t recommend:  Turning your points into cash-back [.dontreco]

While you can redeem your points for cash back or gift cards at a rate of 1 cent per point, or use Chase's Pay Yourself Back option, it simply doesn’t provide the best value.

[.sometimesreco] We sometimes recommend:  Using the Chase Travel Portal [.sometimesreco]

You can redeem your points for flights, hotel stays, and car rentals through Chase TravelSM, all at a fixed rate of 1.25 cents per point. While this is a decent option, it’s still not the best.

[.alwaysreco] We always recommend:  Using transfer partners at a 1:1 ratio to stretch your points. [.alwaysreco]

The bottom line is — if a flight or hotel room can be bought with cash, you can use your points to book it. Transferring your Chase points can score you more than 1.25 cents per point by moving rewards to Chase's amaaaazing airline and hotel partners. Top picks include Hyatt, United, British Airways, IHG One Rewards, and so many more. Taking advantage of these transfer partners is one of the best ways to justify your Ink Business Cash. Chase often runs bonus promotions, giving you up to 30% more points or miles when you transfer to a partner.

But how can I actually transfer my Ultimate Rewards points?

Transferring your Chase points is a super simple process. Simply log in to your Chase account and click on “points” in the top right corner. Then, you’ll see three dots on the top of the screen. Click those and select “transfer points to partners.” From there, you’ll be able to view any bonuses and available transfer options. Let the travel commence!

Our Favorite Redemptions

Brendan, who you may have seen on our Daily Drop YouTube channel, is pretty much a points wizard. He earned about a million points on welcome offers and has used them for some pretty sweet redemptions. One of his redemptions? Booking a $3,000 All-Inclusive using the points from his Ink Business Preferred (which, again, could be pooled together with the Ink Business Cash). He owns quite a few Ink cards (for good reasons, it seems). Want to learn how to use your Ink card to make a similar redemption? Check this out 👇

Combining these two cards means you can earn big on both routine purchases and travel, while also enjoying some really awesome travel perks. Pool your rewards and you’ve got a powerful tool for managing business expenses and maximizing value.

Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card

Why? Pairing the Ink Business Cash with the Ink Business Unlimited is for sure a dynamic duo for your business expenses. The Ink Business Cash gives you 5% cash back on office supplies, internet, and phone services, and 2% cash back on gas and dining. Meanwhile, the Ink Business Unlimited covers everything else with a no-nonsense 1.5% cash back on every purchase, with no categories or limits to worry about. Together, these cards ensure you’re racking up rewards on every single dollar your business spends. And since both cards earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you can combine them and redeem them through Chase Travel or transfer them to travel partners for even more value.

Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card

Why? The Ink Business Cash card is the perfect pair with the Ink Business Preferred. While the Ink Business Preferred offers impressive rewards on travel and select business categories, the Ink Business Cash has some serious earning potential on everyday business expenses. Imagine earning 5% cash back (or 5x points) on office supplies, internet, and phone services—stuff you’re already buying for your business. And with 2% cash back (or 2x points) at gas stations and restaurants, this card has you covered on the basics. Pair it with the Ink Business Preferred, and you’re looking at rewards galore. You can pool the points from both cards and redeem them through Chase Travel for more value or transfer them to travel partners. It’s like having your cake and eating it too…but with points instead of calories.

Who Should Get The

Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

?

  1. The Small Business Owner

The Ink Business Cash is perfect for people who own small businesses and want to earn some extra cashback on everyday purchases. Imagine getting paid back every time you stock up on office supplies, pay your internet bill, or even grab lunch for the team—this card’s got your back with cashback on the stuff you already buy. The cherry on top? This card has no annual fee and a solid welcome offer, giving you a solid boost. It’s the kind of card that makes you feel like you’ve cracked the code to smarter spending.

  1. The Chase Enthusiast

Adding the Ink Business Cash card to your wallet is a smart move, especially if you already have another Chase card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. Why? Because it lets you double-dip on rewards. The Ink Business Cash offers solid cash back on categories like office supplies and utilities, which you can combine with the points you earn on your Sapphire Preferred. Since both cards earn Ultimate Rewards points, you can pool them together for even bigger travel redemptions through Chase’s portal or transfer partners. Pairing multiple Chase cards is a super-duper way to rack up tons of extra Ultimate Rewards points, and the Ink Business Cash is a great place to start.

Who Should Not Get The

Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

?

Here’s a good rule of thumb: You probably shouldn’t own a credit card if you: (1) have a bad credit score, (2) are a non-U.S. resident (for this particular card), and (3) cannot control your spending.

If your credit score is below 700, you'll need to improve it before applying for travel credit cards, as approval for the best ones, like the Ink Business Cash, is unlikely. Be honest with yourself: if a new credit card will tempt you to overspend, it's best to avoid it. Credit cards are crucial for earning miles and points, but they require responsible use.
